Most Evil

September 13, 2007

This is a show on Discovery Times channel. I really like it – I find it really interesting. Intriguing.

It’s a program dealing with murders – mostly serial killers – and a forensic phsychiatrist who has devoted his life to the study and classification, if you will, of these people. Dr. Stone has devised a scale of sorts where he places these killers in categories of evil. The lower the number, the more psychosis seems to be involved. For instance, Ed Gein is lower on the scale because he was so deeply insane that he wasn’t aware of the crimes he was committing. However, Tommy Lynn Stivers is a #22 – the highest level of evil – because he was aware of what he was doing, did it for gratification and enjoyed watching his victims suffer (there’s a lot more to it than that – this is just a mere skeleton of what the scale is about).

If you get the Discovery Times channel (channel 285 to Direct TV subscribers) I suggest watching or at least TIVO’ing an episode or two. In each episode they profile one or two (at least) murderers and discuss why they are the number they are on the scale. There is also a lot of information on how to determine if someone has the predisposition to become a serial killer (I had no idea that approx. 1 in 100 people is psychopathic although only a miniscule amount of them become homicidal). They discuss different tests that are done on psychopaths and how their results differ from the normal Joe Blow you’d meet on the street. It’s really very interesting. Check your local listings – although here it’s on in the mornings at both 8 and 9 am MST then again in the afternoons at 1 and 3 pm. New showings are on Sundays.

I’ll be back to talking BB8 soon – I’ve had real life going on and haven’t really had the energy to discuss the goings on…although I will say I’m so not happy with the way things have gone down recently!

HOLD THE FREAKING PHONES

August 19, 2007

I can’t make this crap up.

A direct quote:

“If everything pans out as God’s told me it’s going to I’m going to win POV tomorrow and me and Jameka will be in the final two. I just know it.”

God SPEAKS TO YOU?? About Big Brother??

Holy Smokes.

I had no idea they let full-blown psychotics join this show. I wonder if they just shove a handful of pills under the door for her each day. And I wonder which one of the houseguests is taking them from her.

I’m surprised she can spell “Amber”

August 19, 2007

So here’s the list of the words Amber didn’t know on tonight’s (8.19.07) show:

Charismatic

Ridicule

Superficial

Integrity

Backdoor

Outed

Sub-Aliance

Perceive

Implication

Peanut Gallery

And to finish off this brain-fest, a few quotes from the brainiac:

“People probably think I’m so stupid.” Ya think?

“I still don’t know what it [outed] means. How sad is that?” Sad enough that it would make you cry.

“That’s what makes me more stronger.”

Bye-Bye, Mike

July 26, 2007

Before Tuesday’s show I could have seen a pic of Mike online and not been able to tell you he was currently in the Big Brother house. That’s how much of a game player he was. So no loss at all. In fact, the only thing I’m sorry about is that 1) Jenn’s still in the house and 2) Jenn’s poor mom thinks she’s raised a smart daughter who’s not vain. Poor, deluded Mom.

Silly, Silly Jessica

Re: her comment about Joe

“Joe will do anything to save himself, include trying to take me out and I just can’t have someone in the house that’s going to try to do that to me.”

Uh, hello?

Isn’t that what EVERYONE in the house is trying to do??

You want to WIN. You want all the others to LOSE. In the end there are no alliances. There are no 50/50s. There is one winner and 12 losers. Jessica, 12 people are trying to take you down. Joe’s just open about it.
